Meet Your Madison Avenue Team - Irina Altceva

I am from Russia and I’ve been with the BoConcept family for 3 years having started in the Moscow flagship store. It was there that I developed my sense and style of decoration and design. I would describe my personal style with natural shapes and colors and occasionally sprinkle in color with accessories.

I dress my home as I would dress myself, elegant and stylish forms with surprising pops of color and metal throughout. For me it is important to have a cohesive design statement, that all of the details are well thought out and create a harmonious environment for my clients.

I encourage my clients to consider all of the details, lamps, vases, gallery art can create magic. This is a great way for your personality to be exhibited in your home.

I have a hard time picking a particular favorite of mine from our BoConcept collection but I really love the Athena and Boston chairs. The comfort of the Athena is like nothing else, you don’t want to get out of it. The Boston chair is so elegant with the beautiful lines and is supremely functional as it creates a striking visual yet cradles you when sitting in it.

Meet Your Madison Avenue Team - Stefan Sweeting

Born in Miami, I’ve lived in many major cities but chose New York as my home. Everyday living inspires me; nature, architecture, and even the clothes we wear are the things I focus on. That gives me the ability to create the perfect decor that's not only tasteful but also personal to fit the needs of every client. I have a strong belief in the structure of design and furniture, but I like to have fun with it as well.

My philosophy is to fill your home or work space with pieces that are specifically chosen to reflect that way that you live and or work. For example, if you love color we can choose a color story from your favorite and use it as a starting point or accent for your home design.

At BoConcept I get the chance to share my love and passion for design. The great thing about BoConcept is that your limits are endless! A modular design can stretch beyond your imagination making it a one of a kind.

My favorite BoConcept furniture is the Monza Table. It offers a design aesthetic that's both modern and industrial. And how often do you see a dining room table that comes with 3 lengths. It's a statement piece that is subtle in appearance and will have every guest talking about it.

Meet Your Madison Avenue Team - Lindsay Sheroda

I grew up in a small town in PA and moved to New York City to study Interior Design. I attended the New York School of Interior Design where I learned the history, aesthetic, and functionality of Interior Design. After working for a couple residential design firms, I quickly realized that my true passion was not only designing but also selling. BoConcept is the perfect place to do both.

My style is forever changing, and I have a love for color. I also appreciate an all-white room with texture and organic elements. I design by listening and interacting on a personal level, so I can get the best idea of what the client wants and needs. I believe that everyone should love their home not just live there. A well-designed room should look “magazine ready”. My favorite part of interior design is a client seeing their finished space for the first time, it never gets old.

My favorite BoConcept pieces are the Trento and Lucca chairs. These pieces appeal to me because they both have modern and mid-century aspects to them and most importantly, are comfortable. I like how you can change the fabric and base color, allowing both chairs to fit the design of the space.

Meet Your Madison Avenue Team - Luis Rodriguez

I was born and raised in Miami now consider myself a native New Yorker now having lived here for over 12 years. I went to school at SVA and FIT studying graphic and interior design. When it comes to personal style I love mixing old with new, and modern with contemporary. In design, I’m never scared of being bold or subdued.

New York and its people inspire me! We live in a city that is crowded and surreal so our homes reflect that. From giant apartments to tiny ones New Yorkers have great style and it reflects in how we decorate our homes with beauty and functionality.

My favorite BoConcept collection is the Carlton sofa it mixes mid-century with the modern of today and our choices of 120 fabrics make this sofa unique for every home. My tip for every home is to buy an armchair that is not only comfortable but that also visually pops so when your guests come over they’ll know they've walked into a special place: your home.
