Meet Your Miami Team
Lena Waldoski - I am originally from Brazil and before Miami I lived in Atlanta. I have been in Miami for more than 20 years and in the last few years I have seen many more people moving here from my home country. I love Miami where I can speak Portuguese, English or Portañol. I’ve been at BoConcept since 2014 and enjoy working with my clients, helping them find from the right accessories, to completely remodel their home. When it comes to interior design for me it is all about having a strategy. My role is to help you define everything that needs to happen in the room and then plan it out. If for some reason the architecture is not fabulous, we can take the focus out of it and put it in extraordinary pieces of furniture, art pieces or a rug. We should also pay attention to light - the power of correct illumination does amazing to any space, large or small. For me, less is more. We can help you choose the fabrics that go with your lifestyle. For example use our Frisco and Easy Nabuk fabrics if you have a household with kids. Use Leather instead of fabric if you or a family member suffers from allergies since leather does not harbor pet dander, dust mites and is it easy to dust it off.
Daniel Reyes - I was born and raised in Miami, my parents are from Cuba. This is an international city, the capital of Latin America and I love the diversity it represents - more than 50% of those who live here are foreign born. I joined BoConcept in 2015 and have seen the store grow. We are next to Brickell City Center which was not here when we opened. To be honest it took vision to build the store in Brickell as we have literally seen this area develop around it. Because of Miami being a cosmopolitan city, we get a mix of local and international clients. Whatsapp is one of the best ways I communicate with many of my clients. My background is in architecture and design so getting to work with customers to find their style and bring it to life is what I do best. I believe that you need to respect the space and other elements in the house. I focus on being creative and providing originality by being clever with colors, using contrast and playing with symmetry. For me it is a collaborative process, one that allows me to understand how they think and bring it to life.
Bibi Skifte Nøddesbo - I was born and raised in Greenland. Moved to Denmark in 1997 and have worked for BoConcept since 2009. I’ve always loved interior design and the options for development around the world was a very big factor for me when I started at BoConcept. I started in Copenhagen, met my husband who worked for BoConcept in Aarhus, and then I moved there. It was supposed to be temporary until I found another job. but ended up staying as we found out we were a great team. Back in 2013, we had the opportunity to help open stores in Miami. We’ve been here since Brickell opened in October 2013. I love how the community in Brickell has adopted us, we host monthly in-store activities and have regulars who stop by and we feel like a part of the Brickell Era where everything is booming! I’m inspired by nature that surrounds me, the city skyline, the vibe of the urban living. For me it is all about color. Colors can make you feel energized or calm and right at home! Whether you choose tone in tone or contrasting the colors are making the difference.
