Q: How long have you been in the interior design industry?
I’ve worked in the interior design industry for 9 years.
Q: What is your favorite BoConcept piece and why?
I love the Imola chair with the still base. I really like it in the Carmel Sienna Leather
Q: How do you conduct your design consultation?
It usually starts out at the store, where I get to know the customer and their main requirements for their personal projects. I like to ask who will be using the space the most and then from there brainstorming which products would fit perfectly in the space. Once we do our in-home consultation, I take accurate measurements and observe the space to see what best fits their lifestyle. I’m involved throughout the whole process, even down to the delivery and setup and finally the final project reveal.
Q: What is one thing you can recommend to your customers before they start an interior design project?
To focus on how they plan to achieve their space and how it will be utilized.

Meet Our Designer - Dominique
Q: How long have you been in the interior design industry?
A: I've been in the interior design industry for almost a year! Before joining BoConcept I studied Interior Architecture and Design for 4 years at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Q: What is your favorite BoConcept piece and why?
A: I have two favorite pieces actually! I love the Hampton sofa, particularly in the silver gray Napoli fabric, and I also love the Dublin chair. Both are very comfortable to me and I really love their overall designs.
Q: How do you conduct your design consultation?
A: I first like to get to know my clients, which usually takes place during their first visits to the showroom. From there I begin to ask questions to better understand the space(s) they are looking to design and how they are going to be used. After gaining a good understanding of what they want and need, I then move forward with furniture selection and thinking of a color palette that fits with the overall design. I also make sure I have accurate measurements to ensure that everything will fit in the space(s) as expected. Most importantly, I always make sure to include my clients in the process as well, allowing them to lead as much as possible so that it feels like it is their own design. Designing homes is exciting, and I aim to make sure my clients have fun and enjoy the process!
Q: What is one thing you can recommend to your customers before they start an interior design project?
A: To try and have a solid idea or plan of what they want in the design as well as what they need. Going into an interior design project with no idea of what you want or need can make the process take longer and be more stressful than it needs to be!Newsletter
