Blending sculptural aesthetics and soft minimalism, the Ø lounge chair is a cosy, oversized piece that’s a standalone sanctuary.

Global Artistic Director
Helena Christensen
Helena, one of the world’s most photographed women, is a proud Dane, celebrated photographer, and Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR. With her deep connection to home and interiors, she weaves warmth, style and a sense of belonging into everything she touches.
‘If you could see inside me, you’d find a tiny replica of my home.’
Intuitive designer
Helena was inspired by the serene beauty of Denmark’s small islands when she designed Ø. Neither a traditional sofa nor a typical living chair, it blends the best of both worlds. Having somewhere to retreat in the home is the most important thing for Helena. “My decoration philosophy is to have somewhere to curl up with a book or a cup of tea in as many places as possible in your home,” she says. “With its oversized, welcoming form, Ø invites relaxation, book reading, music listening and dog cuddling.”
Acclaimed photographer
Helena Christensen’s photography has been featured in Nylon, Marie Claire and ELLE. Her exhibitions include ‘A Quiet Story’ in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and ‘Far From, Close’ at Dactyl Foundation, supporting the International Centre of Photography and Chernobyl Children’s Project International.
“I like the symbol ‘Ø’. I was born on an island and find them so magical because they’re surrounded by water. Our lounge chair is like a cosy little island in your home."
