HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our AR experience uses the camera functionality of your cell phone or tablet to scan the room and place a virtual model of the furniture into the screen. You can then take a screenshot to keep a copy of how the furniture looked in your home.

Browse our collections or visit our AR collections and pick a product you like. If you are visiting the website on desktop you will be able to scan a QR code or send a link to view the AR experience on your mobile device.

Look for the AR symbol

On your selected product page, look for the AR symbol. Click on it on your mobile device to visualize the AR experience of our furniture in your space and home.

Snap a screenshot photo of the look in your home and share it with your family or friends.

  • HOW CAN I TEST IF THE AR EXPERIENCE WORKS FROM MY MOBILE DEVICE?

    A simple test could be to try out the experience with our Charlotte Armchair. You can go to the product page – or simply click this test link that will take you to the AR experience: AR Charlotte

  • I’m scanning the floor but nothing is happening – why?

    Make sure you’re in a well-lit, open area. Try to point your mobile device camera down at the floor and move it in a slow, circular motion.

  • Why is my piece of furniture not placed properly in the room?

    The built-in AR technology scans your space and look for flat surfaces. If your room is not well lit, or you scanned a flat surface that was not the floor itself, this could cause your piece to look like it is floating or not sitting correctly on the actual floor.

  • WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO VIEW FABRIC COLOURS?

    Fabric colours may vary based on your device and settings as well as the lighting in your home. To learn more about our vast collection of fabrics and leathers and explore the different textures, qualities and colours, take a look at our material overview page – or you can also order free fabric swatches.

  • How do I zoom in AR?

    To see the furniture in more detail, simply walk closer to the design as you see it in your camera. Pinching in or out on your mobile device screen will change the scale of the AR furniture item you are placing in the room.

  • WHAT IF I’M VISITING YOUR SITE FROM A LAPTOP?

    Our BoConcept AR experience uses the camera functionality of your mobile or tablet device. However if you are visiting the website on desktop you will be able to scan a QR code from the laptop screen with your mobile device or send an email link to the experience – both will allow you to transfer the exact furniture you are looking at into the AR experience on your mobile device.
