PR New Kollektion AW22

Timeless shapes, neutral tones and a focus on multifunctional pieces: the New Kollektion just launched by BoConcept celebrates 70 years of Ekstraordinær.

The Danish furniture brand BoConcept has just announced the launch of its AW22 New Kollektion, featuring the best of Danish style with its expertly crafted designs and timeless shapes.

In a world that is rapidly changing, with consumers often forced to redefine their lifestyles, the Kollektion was developed to respond to these new needs and desires.

A period of change has led to redefining our spaces and the way we use them. Time with friends and family feels more precious, and the items that we cherish have a deeper meaning.

The Kollektion includes brand new designs and new versions of beloved existing pieces, created to meet new consumer needs and habits, such as working from home and spending more time in multifunctional spaces at home.

All the pieces reflect BoConcept’s values and heritage: expert craftsmanship, quality without compromise, unique Danish design.
They have been developed by Danish designers Henrik Pedersen and Morten Georgsen, two long-term collaborators behind BoConcept’s most iconic designs.

Henrik Pedersen
Henrik Pedersen’s designs offer a warm minimalism; a luxury that calls to you without the needless lexicon of ornamentation and glitz. His design language is a blend of comfort, natural curves, clean lines and honest materials – honesty being one of his mantras.
Always with the user in focus, Henrik sacrifices his own predispositions and puts all his energy into optimizing feelings, trends, craftsmanship and functionality in a way that puts the user in focus.
Buying a Henrik Pedersen piece allows you to express yourself without compromise.

The Danish furniture and lighting designer uses his innate sensibility to produce captivating designs; including the iconic Imola chair.
“I don’t do this for money or fame. My passion is creating good products that can be used by customers around the world.”

Morten Georgsen
Incorporating Danish minimalism, Morten Georgsen is a master of creating storage concepts and beautiful tables. Focusing on elegant functionality, Morten skillfully creates designs that both look good and work in the home.
It is in this cross-section of beauty and functionality that Morten operates.
Every element of his designs has a purpose, ensuring minimalist, functional and elegant pieces made for living.

Working for BoConcept for more than 25 years, Morten’s designs and talent have proved timeless and with their simple beauty always fit the modern home.
"When you combine pleasing proportions with beautiful colours, materials and craftsmanship, you create a design that evokes a good feeling."

With its modern, minimal design, Berne offers great support thanks to a higher, more upright back, bigger seat depth and firmer cushions.
The tubular-shaped matt black metal legs create a floating expression. There are no sharp corners, and the arms, seats and back are softly rounded, giving this design a welcoming look from every angle.

BoConcept has unveiled its latest fabric and colour upgrades and additions, in line with this season’s biggest trends.

Wellington is a woven felt upholstery fabric, made of 100% New Zealand premium quality worsted wool. Distinguished by a unique ultra-soft and satiny touch, superior strength, and a modern colour scheme including seven on-trend options, this fabric reinvents the iconic felt texture and brings it into the future.

Combining a satisfyingly soft feel with a strong durability, the Tomelilla fabric has been updated with the addition of a light beige colour to the collection, which currently includes blue, grey and mustard.

BoConcept also introduces Skagen in light green, a colour that has a calming effect, bringing balance and joy.
Skagen is both elegant and modern. This fabric features an extremely durable quality, feeling incredibly soft at the same time.

Following the recent bouclé trend, BoConcept adds to its bestselling fabric Lazio another ekstraordinær fabric: Auckland Boucle, in white and beige.
Auckland is made of nubby, looped fibers which are extremely soft to the touch, creating a chunky, heavy fabric with structured texture.
