Watermark

United Kingdom | 2021

BoConcept has teamed up with Countryside Properties to deliver bespoke interior design and furnishing solutions to purchasers at Watermark, Maidenhead. Including a show apartment!

Watermark is a contemporary collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments perfectly located right in the heart of Maidenhead’s lively town center. Being based in a vibrant small city with excellent transport links into London, Watermark offers a plentiful lifestyle to its residents, especially when enhanced with the fresh, urban feel that BoConcept is well known for.

In order to showcase this partnership to potential homeowners, BoConcept designed and installed the latest show apartment available to view. Keep reading to see what the BoConcept design team have to say about the inspiration behind this beautiful new show apartment…

The Solution

“Considering the ‘work-from-home’ movement that has recently become inflicted on us, we wanted to create a space that promotes a healthy and happy work-life balance in the home, creating designated zones for the various activities in life, making it easier to focus on the task at hand. Comfort is key, but we have also made sure the furniture is practical and functional to meet the needs of the potential owners and to make the most out of the available space.

In terms of design, we used a base palette of neutral earthy tones and fresh whites to give a calming feel to the home, enhanced with uplifting accents of vibrant mustard yellows to give a sense of positivity and optimism. This also demonstrates how owners can inject their personality on top of a soft base palette, which is important to build a personal connection with your home. The light, bright tones make the home feel spacious and airy to avoid feeling claustrophobic when staying at home. The neutral taupes and earthy greens provide a calming connection to nature that can often be missed in ‘city-living’ but can have a big impact on well-being. Black and brass details feature throughout to add a level of depth and a touch of luxury to the space. “
