“We’re contemporary Scandinavian designers. We can draw inspiration from other styles but our core is clean lines, modern forms and timeless functionality.”

Friendship first

Says Who is a design partnership founded on friendship. “We just really hit it off,” says Duve. “It was the friendship that brought it all together. We enjoy working together and our kids even go to the same childcare!” As for the name Says Who, Meldgaard shares: “It was our way of saying, ‘Who says we can’t do this?’ We’ve always tried to take a humble, democratic approach to design.”

The Expose table, reinvented

Says Who was tasked with reinventing the sculptural Expose table and they approached the design process with characteristic clarity. “We changed the material from aluminum to concrete”, says Meldgaard. “We love working with concrete. It’s an honest material that patinates over time, which only adds to its appeal.”
