Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo
In collaboration with ILYA Corporation, BoConcept contributed to the creation of an elegant lobby at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo—an inviting space that embodies the sophistication expected of a luxury hotel.
Inspired by the Japanese architectural concept of Teioku Ichinyo—the harmonious integration of garden and architecture—the lobby brings together the tranquillity of the hotel’s garden with contemporary comfort. Designed to accommodate a wide range of occasions, it provides a welcoming setting for hotel guests, social gatherings, business meetings and weddings.
Working within the design concept developed by ILYA Corporation, BoConcept created a tailored furniture proposal, drawing on its extensive collection and highly flexible customization options. Through close collaboration, the two companies brought to life a sophisticated and inviting space that reflects the distinctive character of the hotel.
A Hotel Lobby Designed for Every Occasion
The lobby welcomes a diverse mix of guests, each spending their time in their own way—travellers relaxing before check-in or after check-out, families and friends meeting one another, and business guests focusing on work. Beyond the restaurant and out into the lush garden stands the Garden Chapel, where couples pass through the lobby on their way to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter together. From moments before and after a stay to meeting loved ones, conducting business or marking one of life’s most significant occasions, the lobby is designed to accommodate a wide range of guests and experiences. To create a welcoming setting for each of these moments, BoConcept carefully considered every detail—from the selection of furniture collections, designs and upholstery to the layout and colour coordination.
We wanted guests to feel removed from the everyday—to unwind in the tranquillity of a garden and enjoy meaningful moments with loved ones or quiet time to themselves. Designed for everything from group gatherings to individual use, the lobby offers a variety of inviting settings where every guest can find a place that feels just right
Despite its central Tokyo location, Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo offers a peaceful setting where guests can experience the beauty of nature throughout the seasons and escape the bustle of everyday life.
