Warranty terms

The warranty covers material and workmanship defects on all products from our entire collection, ensuring that defects are corrected. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser at the original delivery address. The company’s liability is limited to the goods replacement only, no compensation whatsoever will be granted.

The warranty covers products purchased after 1 January 2022. The warranty is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase in a BoConcept store, or from the date the product is delivered to you by BoConcept (if it’s not delivered at the time of purchase).

Warranty claims must be made at the BoConcept store where the product was originally purchased, within 48 hours after the defect has been discovered and in any case before the end of the warranty period. You must be able to provide documents where and when the product was purchased or delivered. You may also be asked to present relevant documentation of the defect in the form of photographs or similar. You must also return the product to our warehouse for further investigation or repair. If you need us to pick it up, standard delivery fees apply.

The warranty shall become void if the goods are used as commercial (unless approved by BoConcept in writing) or outdoor purpose or in an environment for which the product is not suitable, for example in a damp environment such as a bathroom, or exposed directly to the sunlight, extreme heat or bright light such as sun lamps. Foam and fillings will soften and form to the shape of the user over time. Depending on the covering and the degree of use, the covering materials, cushion fillings and suspension may need to be replaced periodically at the purchaser’s expense. No claim can be made by the purchaser under this warranty if: 1, Any damage caused by accident, abuse, neglect, negligence. 2, Any damage caused by improper handling such as dragging the furniture or using corrosive solvent to clean the furniture. 3, Any damage directly or indirectly caused by unprofessional assembly, unauthorized repair, alteration, modification or act of God. 4, Any damage such as scratching and chipping of furniture; marking from stacking; stains; normal fading; discolouration; corrosion and damage caused by contact with chemicals (such as bleach, tanning lotions, nail lotion etc.).

When you file a complaint about a defect, BoConcept will examine the case and, at its own discretion, assess whether it is covered by the warranty. BoConcept reserve the right to decide which action to take if the claim is covered under warranty and will cover the costs for replacement or repair of the affected part(s). If the product has been discontinued from the collection, BoConcept will decide upon a suitable replacement product. If the defect can be rectified, it will be done by BoConcept or by a BoConcept-selected partner and with the necessary means.
